Mark Anthony Mulligan is one of the most celebrated Louisville “outsider” artists. His drawings, involving a dense iconography of streets, fast-food restaurants, oil companies and more, form a map of the artist’s soul. His work was the subject of a major exhibition at the Outsider Museum and Gallery in Portland that ended on 26 January.
