Wallace Kelly

Wallace Kelly was a prolific artist who, along with Henderson's Malcolm Arnett, created some of the best WPA-era images of life in Kentucky. Kelly, a native of Lebanon, Kentucky, was a painter and printmaker. He also made movies, one of which, Our Day, has been placed on the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress. City Traffic is a painting on glass, a technique also used by fellow Kentucky painter Harlan Hubbard, who died in 1988, too.
