PFA is offering three works by Barbizon School painter-etcher Charles-Émile Jacque. Jacque and fellow Barbizon artist Jean-François Millet were drawn to Romantic ideas of nature and man and portrayed French country life. Jacques honed his printmaking abilities in the French army engraving maps.
