
George Jo Mess, an Indiana printmaker, painter and
teacher, worked in Chicago as a commercial artist in the late 1930s.
He studied at the Modern School of Design in Chicago and exhibited at the
Chicago Art Institute. He was also a member of the artist colony in
Brown County, Indiana. |
