This etched portrait of an aged woman with her trusty broom was done by Louis-Didier-Georges Duseigneur. Duseigneur was a Lyon native who received his art training there and in Paris. The working class provided him with subjects for his printmaking. This image was published in the Societe des Aqua-Fortistes journal Eaux-Fortes Modernes.
