- Krementz studied art in his home country of Germany before
coming to the United States. He settled in New Albany, Indiana,
where he had a studio on East Market Street and was a member
of the Wonderland Way Art Club. In 1915, he had a studio on Third
Street in Louisville.
Krementz was a contemporary of Carl Brenner and Harvey Joiner.
He, like Brenner, participated in the vibrant cultural life of
the German immigrant community in the Louisville area.
